Green Bolt Energy Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 23, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern purchases, registrations, subscriptions, digital services, educational services, courses, credentials, platform access, and other products or services offered by Green Bolt Energy (“Green Bolt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing, registering for, accessing, or using a Green Bolt product or service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Business Information

Green Bolt Energy
1505 Barrington Street
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Canada

Customer Support: support@greenboltenergy.com

2. Products and Services

Green Bolt may provide products and services including educational courses, professional development, digital content, platform access, verification services, credential-related services, subscriptions, reports, and other related services.

The specific description, scope, price, duration, access period, eligibility requirements, and other material terms of a purchase will be provided on the applicable product page, order page, proposal, or checkout page.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency identified at the time of purchase.

Applicable taxes, fees, or other charges will be disclosed at or before checkout where required.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe. Green Bolt does not directly store complete payment card information processed by Stripe.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.

A purchase is not complete until payment has been successfully authorized and accepted.

4. Promotions and Discount Codes

Green Bolt may offer promotional prices, discount codes, introductory pricing, limited-time offers, or other incentives from time to time.

Promotions may be subject to eligibility requirements, expiry dates, usage limits, product restrictions, or other conditions disclosed with the promotion.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers:

  • have no cash value;
  • cannot be redeemed for cash;
  • may not be combined with other offers;
  • may be modified or withdrawn before purchase; and
  • apply only to qualifying purchases made while the promotion is valid.

A promotional price does not create an entitlement to the same price for future purchases.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, sales of Green Bolt digital products, educational products, courses, services, registrations, and access rights are final and non-refundable.

Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or waived.

If Green Bolt cancels a paid product or service and does not provide the purchased service or a reasonably equivalent replacement, Green Bolt will provide an appropriate refund where applicable.

Billing errors, duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, or concerns about a purchase should be reported promptly to:

support@greenboltenergy.com

Refunds, where approved or legally required, will normally be returned to the original payment method.

6. Digital Products and Course Access

Digital products and courses may have defined access periods. The applicable access period will be disclosed on the product or purchase page.

Access is provided to the purchaser or authorized user and may not be shared, transferred, resold, reproduced, distributed, or made available to others unless Green Bolt expressly permits this in writing.

Green Bolt may use reasonable technical measures to protect course content, accounts, assessments, credentials, and intellectual property.

7. Pre-Launch and Advance Purchases

Some Green Bolt products or services may be offered for purchase before they become available.

Where a product is sold before launch, the anticipated availability, activation method, or access conditions will be disclosed at or before purchase.

Launch dates and schedules may change where reasonably necessary. If Green Bolt is unable to provide a prepaid product or service, the purchaser will retain any rights available under applicable law.

8. Courses, Assessments and Credentials

Completing a Green Bolt course, assessment, or educational program does not by itself constitute a trade licence, professional licence, regulatory approval, certification by a government authority, employer authorization, or permission to perform regulated work unless expressly stated otherwise.

Credentials, certificates, badges, or completion records issued by Green Bolt reflect the scope identified with the applicable program.

Eligibility, assessment, completion, renewal, verification, suspension, expiry, or other credential requirements may vary by program.

Users remain responsible for confirming the laws, codes, standards, regulations, employer requirements, licensing requirements, manufacturer instructions, and Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements applicable to their work.

9. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • share account credentials without authorization;
  • copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Green Bolt content without permission;
  • interfere with or attempt to bypass security or access controls;
  • use Green Bolt systems for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activity;
  • misrepresent a credential, course completion, verification result, or Green Bolt relationship; or
  • access another person's account or information without authorization.

Green Bolt may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, systems, intellectual property, credentials, or legal obligations.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Green Bolt owns or licenses the intellectual property contained in its websites, courses, platforms, graphics, credentials, reports, documents, software, videos, assessments, and other materials.

Purchasing a Green Bolt product or service provides only the limited right to use that product or service for its intended purpose.

No ownership rights are transferred to the purchaser.

11. Third-Party Services

Green Bolt may use third-party services for payment processing, communications, learning systems, hosting, authentication, analytics, or other functions.

Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Stripe or another payment provider processes payment transactions but is not responsible for delivering Green Bolt products or resolving Green Bolt customer-service matters.

12. Privacy

Green Bolt handles personal information in accordance with its applicable Privacy Policy.

Information may be collected and processed as reasonably necessary to provide purchased products or services, process payments, maintain accounts, issue completion records or credentials, provide support, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.

13. Service Availability

Green Bolt may update, maintain, improve, or modify its websites, platforms, courses, and digital services.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, upgrades, third-party systems, internet availability, security events, or circumstances outside Green Bolt's reasonable control.

Green Bolt will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to paid services according to the applicable purchase terms.

14. Educational and Technical Information

Green Bolt educational and technical content is provided for learning, professional-development, verification, or informational purposes within the stated scope of the applicable service.

Users are responsible for confirming current requirements that apply to their jurisdiction, occupation, installation, product, employer, project, or Authority Having Jurisdiction.

Green Bolt does not replace regulators, certification organizations, licensing authorities, employers, inspectors, professional advisors, or Authorities Having Jurisdiction.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Green Bolt is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-interruption losses arising from the use or inability to use a Green Bolt product or service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply based on the purchaser's jurisdiction.

17. Changes to These Terms

Green Bolt may update these Terms from time to time.

The current version and effective date will be made available through the applicable Green Bolt website or service.

Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
